Style has no strike!

Hello everyone,

Yesterday was a bandh in Chennai ( As laways political reason) and all the shops and restaurants were closed except the five star hotels. By the evening we felt so trapped inside the house that we  decided to venture out just for some coffee and pastries and decided to try the new five star hotel in  OMR, Turyaa.

Turyaa is a five star hotel located in heart of Chennai, OMR, rajiv Gandhi Salai,Perungudi. The hotel has a nice infrastructure from outside and quite pleasant looking from inside too.Upon entering you are greeted with a  beautiful ceiling light and a big piano,I loved the hanging light.

The coffee shop is open to lobby and we decided to have our coffee and pastries there. We paid around 900 rs for 2 cappucinoes and 3 pastries, pretty decent! We wanted to see some more of the hotel and requested the reception staff if we could and they happily obliged us.They have a roof top swimming pool with a restaurant and the pool gave me some serious holiday vibes!!!

And ofcorse,Mommy and Ciara didn’t lose this opportunity to dress up,because as the heading says…. style has no strike!!!!! So, here is my dressing for the day. Keeping it simple as I always believe, less is more!

This is a simple look and at the same time stylish too.I love how just a statement necklace has uplifted the whole look!I chose nude small purse and matching shade wedges to keep it all light for summer with just the pop of necklace matching up with my tie up tassle!

This dress from Promod I picked up on sale for 900 rs ,the shoes are on sale at Charles and keith and I got them for rs 2800. My hair I just kept straight with a side parting and make up was kohl and a bright pink lipstick from Elizabeth Arden. Post on my favourite lipsticks will be coming soon!

And Ciara’s cute look is here,

This watermelon print dress I got from local store and found it perfect to add to her summer wardrobe.Excuse the stain on the dress ,this pic was taken after she gobbled up her pastry and in the process stained her dress too!

And with a side swept pony and a pair of silver sandals from “The Childrens Place”, she was ready to rock!

So,here are two simple yet stylish looks for all you mommies and girlies!!! Working on many more…
